The Midwood Development Corp. will open its doors for its second annual Open House. The event will feature a special presentation from filmmaker Melissa Friedling. Details are as follows.

Special Presentation by Melissa Friedling
Dr. Friedling is working on a film about the former site of the American Vitagraph Company, the very first modern film studio in the U.S. located in Midwood (currently the Shulamith Yeshiva School for Girls). Dr. Friedling teaches filmmaking at The New School, where she is also the Director of Undergraduate Programs in the School of Media Studies. She lives in Midwood with her husband and two sons.
