Midwood Development Corp. is pleased to announce a partnership with 501(See)(Streets) to create two murals in Midwood: one at Murrow High School, 1600 Avenue L; and one at Pizza TIme, 1324 Avenue J. The works will be completed by Queens-based artist Nicholai Khan. 501(See)(Streets) is a 501c3 non-profit organization devoted to revitalizing and beautifying communities through the use of public art.

Data (both qualitative and quantitative) has shown that art is beneficial to businesses (in terms of sales, foot traffic, etc.); residents (in terms of safety, psychological factors, etc.); and is an effective graffiti deterrent.
