On Sunday, November 8th, members of the Midwood community celebrated the work of My Extended Family at a neighborhood event held at TD Bank.

The event was a collaboration between TD Bank and My Extended Family, an organization that plans trips, events, and counseling for children of divorced parents. The organization used TD Bank’s penny arcade (the change counter) to collect donations from the community. At the end of the event, TD Bank presented My Extended Family a check for $2,000 to support its mission.

MDC presented a certificate to Sarah Blackman, founder of My Extended Family, in recognition of her hard work in the community.
