UPDATE: Council Member Jumaane Williams will be collecting donated supplies until Sept. 15 — notebooks, pencils, markers, printing paper, glue, hand sanitizer and crayons will all be gratefully accepted. Bring donated goods to Council Member Williams’ office at 4517 Avenue D, Brooklyn, NY.

The first day of school for students in New York City is right around the corner. September 8th marks the start of the 2016/2017 school year. Does your student need school supplies? Do you have school supplies you’d like to donate to a family in need?

In some cases, donations are accepted well into September and later. Visit CB14’s website to learn about free events to pick up or drop off brand-new backpacks, notebooks, pencils, paper and other supplies students need to succeed – plus enjoy family activities and celebrate the start of the new school year in your community!
