Last week, the Parks Department completed the restoration of Dorman Plaza, located on Avenue M and Elm Street. Long a public eyesore, the square is now home to a lovely, fenced garden, filled with plants and flowers.

Midwood Development Corporation board members met with local residents and community leaders in March to discuss the future of the square. Nick Guntli, Manager of Horticulture & Workforce Development at the Horticultural Society of New York, presented replanting strategies. We’re so grateful to all for helping to beautify our community!
