Senator Simcha Felder has called our attention to an email scam. The Senator cautions that scammers are continuously coming up with new ways to steal information, and this new scam is particularly devious because the scammers create an email that appears to come from Google, leading the recipient to believe it is legitimate.

The email looks like the one below. Sen. Felder urges email users to be cautious and to never give personal or financial information to unknown parties. If the sender appears suspicious, contact your email provider directly — do not respond to the email.
