screen-shot-2016-10-23-at-9-16-01-pmThe City of New York has announced the debut of Growing Up NYC, developed by the Children’s Cabinet to provide resources for parents and caregivers of children from ages 0-12.

The Growing Up NYC digital tool is a new resource for parents and caregivers in New York City. The tool serves as a one-stop-shop, integrating and curating content around City resources including health, education, child development and safety, and recreation.

Users have the opportunity to refine content to meet the specific ages, needs, and interests of the children in their family. The tool is a “mobile first” digital platform that is equally accessible via smart phone, tablet, or computer. The website provides parents and caregivers a one-stop solution to find out things like: What events can I take my child to today? Is there any programming at my local library this evening – or what about the park down the block? Are there tips or information out there to help me be a better parent?

The Growing Up NYC website was created with input from a dedicated group of parenting bloggers and City agencies.
