The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce and Midwood Development Corporation have joined forces to offer an exciting new initiative designed to enhance the Midwood shopping district.

Why should I join Invest in Midwood?
Joining the Midwood Merchant Association (MMA) will help you promote your business through social media and print media. It will also help keep the commercial corridors clean.

What other resources will I have access to?
You’ll gain access to programs offered by the Business SolutionsCenter of Brooklyn, which is partnering with the MMA for this program. The Center’s free services include tools to start or expand your business, financing assistance, legal and recruiting advice, and help with permits and licenses.

Why are PROJECT SWEEP, MMA, and I Invest being combined?
By consolidating programs, we’re making it easier and more cost efficient for Midwood merchants to secure services.

I’m already a PROJECT SWEEP member. How will this affect me?
You’ll continue to receive PROJECT SWEEP services. For an additional $8 a month, you’ll receive Silver level
benefits; for an additional $64 a month, you’ll receive Platinum level benefits.
