Students entering 6th-8th grade in September 2017 are eligible to apply. Deadline is Friday, 4/21.

Applications are now open for the Summer 2017 middle grades Science of Smart Cities (SoSC) on-campus program. Over four weeks, middle school students will be on the NYC campus engineering smart cities through experimental and hands-on learning. NYU Tandon undergraduate and graduate student instructors teach, mentor, and coach their younger peers as they explore STEM content integrated across civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering, and computer science. Students may apply now to the middle grades Science of Smart Cities.

Applications are now open for students entering 9th-12th grade in September 2017. Created as a follow-up experience to our SoSC program, ieSoSC is an opportunity that offers five weeks of intensive STEM instruction and mentoring on the NYU Tandon School of Engineering’s Downtown Brooklyn campus in technology and engineering skills, design and prototyping, built around real world ‘smart city’ applications and research.
